Triund Campsite is about 17 kilometers from Dharamshala, at an altitude of 2,827 meters. (Also known as Jewel of Dharamshala )

Triund Campsite is a base camp and acclimatisation point for trekkers climbing to Indrahar Pass (4,320 meters), one of the most beautiful and popular treks in Dhauladhar mountain range of outer Himalayas. Indrahar pass forms the border between Kangra and Chamba districts.
Triund Campsite, is a ridge, situated in the laps of dhauladhar mountains, it has the perfect view of the dhauladhar mountains on one side and kangra valley on the other.
Triund Campsite is a very popular trekking spot and attracts a lot of tourist every year. There is a forest rest house at Triund Campsite.
From Triund Campsite, Laka Glacier is about 4 kilometers, 1 kilometer further is Lakesh Cave and about 4 kilometers further is Indrahar Pass (approximately Indrahar Pass is 9 kilometers from Truind Campsite). Triund hill top (Shri Kunal Pathri Devi Temple) is about 5 kilometers from Triund Campsite.
The trek to Triund Campsite is moderately challenging and good for those who want to do a return trek in one day.
